Your privacy is extremely important to us. The Rise browser extension is designed with a privacy-first approach. This Privacy Policy details exactly how the extension handles data.

1. No Collection of Personal Information

Rise does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, browsing history, search queries, or analytics. We do not track your usage, nor do we sell or share any information with third parties.

2. Data Retrieval

To display wallpapers and daily quotes, the extension makes network requests to the public GitHub repository rise-data. These requests only fetch public JSON configuration files and image URLs. No personal identifiers or user details are sent during these requests.

3. Local Storage Usage

All data and settings are stored locally on your device within your browser's extension storage:

• Preferences: Your UI toggle settings (clock visibility, quote visibility, wallpaper settings) are saved locally.
• Cached Content: The daily quote and wallpaper image selection is cached locally to minimize network requests.

This data never leaves your device and is deleted automatically if you uninstall the extension.
